Symptom of mild eczema is an area of fine, dry scaling, often on the arms or legs. The skin may or may not itch. “Her skin was hard, red and calloused. It wasn’t even as soft as leather, it was more like an elephant’s hide. She doesn’t sweat, so she lacks moisture. There is no ‘cure’ for it, so the doctors didn’t know what to do about it.”
